A first for any estate agent to have shop window coverage in the City and first for a lady principal owner of an estate agency practice at that time.
After much experience in the property world, success continued to grow for Richmond Estates and the unique professional personal service offered by Joy Roscoe.
Competing with stiff opposition and winning a contract to re-design and market a site of 56 dwelling houses, which was sold in record time of only 3 months, paved the way to acquiring more new sites. This enabled further expansion with the birth of another branch in Burnage South Manchester.
The demand for Joy's individual expertise and skills to re-design run down properties for builders and investor clients led to another dimension of the property market and a new department of Joy Roscoe Property Consultancy was established.

Today Joy Roscoe continues to grow; she has recently acquired the practice of Haigh.Pawlett Chartered Surveyors/Property Consultants of Chorlton Manchester which has been established since 1929. Her predecessors Ken Haigh now 75 and Ron Markham 86 have at last hung up their clip boards and tape measures with a staggering historical joint record of service to the property profession spanning over 130 years.
Ken & Ron are proud to say that the practice has been sold to Joy Roscoe who has worked closely with them for many years. Joy will continue the business in the name of Roscoe.Haigh.Pawlett. based in Chorleton, Manchester with her unique individual flair and vast experience of 27 years in the property world, assures you of a highly professional and friendly service second to none.
